"10 steps to a Green School"

Schools
In school, children should prosper not only academically but be able to grow up without health problems. Many school buildings have toxic asbestos in the floor tiles and heating ducts, lead in their water supply, lead on artificial turfs, formaldehyde in furniture, pesticides on the school grounds, poor drainage facility, fire retardants, old heating systems, Styrofoam food trays, plastic utensils, poor quality food programs without composting and recycling capabilities or environmental curriculum.

Eco Kido wants to help change these things! We are seeking grants, writing green programs and gathering donations to help schools who want to be a part of our program.

Eco Safe School Program

We send your school an assessment questionnaire, you fill it out and complete it along with a wish list (see below).

Check off what you want incorporated into your school. Next we provide you with a guide to help your school get healthy and green. We recommend a committee of teachers, parents and students to all get involved to make sure everything is going smoothly.
